Acts 14:24

King James Bible

"And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia."

Commentary

Paul and Barnabas complete their journey through Pisidia, a mountainous region in south-central Asia Minor. This marks the continuation of their first missionary journey's return leg, retracing their earlier route through challenging terrain known for bandits and difficult travel. The missionaries descend from the highlands to Pamphylia, a coastal province on the Mediterranean. This southward movement brings them back to where they had briefly stopped earlier (Acts 13:13), positioning them to revisit Perga before sailing home to Antioch.
